One of our members Craig had a heart attack, at the Canoga Park Spectrum on 4/15/11. Thanks to the help of our well trained staff, he was around to enjoy the holidays with his family. Kudos to Diana Poff, Michael Zeno, and Erika Ramirez for all their help!
Many many years ago, the then principal of Welby Way Magnet school, had a heart attack while swimming in the pool at this gym. He too was saved by quick action of the gym staff. No one should plan on having an MI, but nice to know that the Spectrum trains its staff to help in such emergencies.
