Both have serious health effects which include coronary heart disease, type II diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases, and obesity. You are probably wondering what the difference is between the term hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated. Both have similar effects and are extremely harmful; however, partially hydrogenated oil contains some amounts of trans fat whereas hydrogenated oil only contains saturated fat.
